Nutritional Therapy

The most common question people ask me is “are we what we eat?”

Well yes we are.  In simplistic terms we are made of nutrients.  But for me that is only half the story.  Of course what our bodies are made of is vital to our good health but how our bodies work is the real key to how we feel each day, each week, each month and is the answer to our long lasting good health and wellbeing.

The role of Nutritional Therapy is to find out your own specific nutrient requirements and to establish why imbalances occur.  So if you’re struggling with painful joints or muscles – why?  Is your diet causing inflammation in your body or are your muscles holding on tight to too many toxins?  If you have skin conditions – why?  Maybe your digestion is struggling and not absorbing all your nutrients well enough.  Did you know that if you are struggling to maintain a chiropractic correction this can indicate an important underlying adrenal fatigue issue?

You can expect an improved health outcome from seeking nutritional advice from Hilary. Whether it is more energy, improved digestion or a more desirable weight, Hilary prepares an optimum nutrition plan based on your lifestyle and case history to help you feel and achieve the improvements you want. Hilary thoroughly listens to you and gives you an understanding and practical perspective on how to improve your health with nutritional means. You will NOT simply be “put on a diet”!

There is almost no condition that could NOT benefit from improved nutrition. However, to give you an idea of those that most often respond well to nutritional therapy, Hilary has the greatest experience with the conditions listed below. This is not an exclusive list, so do feel free to contact Hilary to ask how optimum nutrition could help you, even if your own condition is not detailed below.
