LauraLyons Laura began by taking an ITEC Anatomy and Physiology Diploma in 2004 which fuelled her fascination and knowledge of the body and its various systems.  She continued her studies in 2004/2005 learning Holistic Massage through which gave her a greater understanding of the effect massage can have on the body, how it works and how to manipulate the muscles to relieve tension.

In 2005 Laura also undertook an Aromatherapy Diploma which sparked her interest into the power of essential oils.  The course concentrated on 42 essential oils learning everything about their origins, chemical construction and their therapeutic effects. Since becoming a qualified Aromatherapist Laura’s love of aromatherapy has grown so much so that she now has a true understanding of how oils can affect the mind, body and spirit of a person.

In the summer of 2005 Laura became self employed so she could begin practicing all that she learned while in school, and she hasn’t looked back since.

At the beginning of 2007 she also qualified in On-Site Massage which focuses much more on stress and how to deal with it, which has given Laura another tool she can use whilst treating patients.

Laura also found that making products for her clients has been very beneficial in their aftercare and for this reason she is now developing her own range of natural organic and botanical handmade cosmetics. She uses the essential oils and holistic principles behind them so that she can have an affect on all aspects of our health and well-being.

From Laura: “The most exciting part of my career so far has to be opening The Conscious Health Centre. With this place my partners and I hope to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere for anyone and everyone who needs help or just a cuppa and a chat.”

DenisFleming Denis started his career in the field of sales/management, spanning more than 35 years, he has always been involved in connecting with people.  It came to a point when he realised that his true purpose, plain and simple, was to help people achieve their goals.

Since the new millenium Denis has studied self development, focussing upon both success and failure.  Denis has learned that there is a commonality between the two; it is in the power of the mind.  When Denis first discovered NLP (neuro linguistic programming) he found that he was particularly drawn to its impact upon holistic development, and quickly learned the skills to help people in working towards what they want, rather than what they don't want.

In 2003 Denis became fascinated with EFT (emotional freedom technique) and immediately started using it with unexpected amazing results.  In order to personalise his service, Denis has been able to blend both NLP and EFT techniques in order to help others overcome their: phobias, cravings/addictions, fears, stresses and negative emotions.  Denis is always jovial and believes that using his sense of humor aids in the rapport and benifit with his clients.

I have had a very varied career which includes working in local authority housing services for over 10 years, counselling tenants about debt & family problems & acting as a mediator in disputes. These skills stayed with me and after beginning self-development work in 2000 I discovered I also had a gift of healing others with energy.

This gave me a very good grounding for when I decided to gain some academic validation of my healing work and I became qualified in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in 2006. My training was undertaken with the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis, Kings College London, where I still attend Master classes occasionally to ensure my skills are honed & to keep up with the latest methods.

It is immensely satisfying to see the changes in my clients as I facilitate the transformation of each individual to unlock their potential.  I am also an EFT (Emotional Freedom technique) practitioner, which can often accelerate the process of healing.
Having also worked in the corporate business world I understand the stresses caused by a fast paced lifestyle and the implications this can have on individuals, mentally & physically.

What can be treated? Hypnosis works on the subconscious mind where our habits are stored, so addictions can be broken and habits changed. Numerous conditions can be treated with hypnotherapy. Below are listed just some.

Stress, Smoking cessation, Weight loss, over-eating,
Anxiety, Phobias including dental phobia, arachnophobia,
Insecurity, Low self-esteem, Insomnia
Improved athletic performance, Eczema
Fear of flying, Jealousy, Frustration, anger
Exam anxiety – help with study & concentration.

Hypnotherapy is excellent for relaxation and self esteem. It is my goal to help people change negative thinking into positive belief (or conviction), to free their minds and unlock their potential. Please call me or contact via email with any questions or to book an appointment.
